There have been many brands of Alarms sold in New Zealand over the years, some good, some not so good, and some that just are not worth repairing and should be upgraded.

Some alarms are well supported, with agents and wholesalers here in New Zealand but unfortunately there are many alarm brands that have left the industry, as there are also a great many Alarm Installation Companies that have left the market.  Sometimes installation or repair manuals are unavailable, and/or the installer locked the alarm system when he installed it (meaning that these alarms cannot be defaulted back to factory specifications and reprogrammed ). Your alarm system will need some maintenance over its working life to ensure that it remains in optimum running order.
